Please find below some of the more commonly asked questions when booking a wedding film.

Q: Can all weddings be filmed?

A:Generally speaking, yes. However, you will need to confirm this with the vicar / superintendent registrar in good time prior to the wedding. They will also confirm how many cameras may be used and whether they must be static or are allowed to move. Please be aware that some churches will charge a fee for allowing filming of the service. Some churches / registrars will not allow the signing of the register to be filmed.

Q: What about music in church, at the reception or added afterwards?

A: The price you pay for your Wedding to be filmed will include the necessary PPL and MCPS licensing.  You are therefore free to choose your own commercial music for the finished DVD.  We will enhance your DVD  with background music where appropriate, or even replace original recorded sound with suitable music. T

Q: How long will the finished DVD be?

A:This will of course vary according to the amount of material recorded. However, 75 minutes is about the average after editing. If you want to have original material produced on more than one DVD, an additional charge will be made (this will be detailed in advance).

Q: We want some of the wedding shots to be outside. What happens if it is raining?

A:We hope that it won’t rain on your wedding day. However, if the day were wet, we would ask you to provide one or two ‘helpers’ to hold umbrellas over the camera equipment and operator. Even if you are able to shelter in the doorway of the church, the videographer will need to be outside to get shots of you arriving and leaving – suitable cover is essential. We can provide someone to do this, but it would be an additional cost and they may not be needed. It is better if you are able to provide help for a few minutes, rather than pay for assistants to be available for several hours who may not actually be needed.
